Durban has been battered by storm and wind and rain. I went for a walk along the Umhlanga beach on Saturday and there were lots of about 15cm fish which had been washed up on the sh0re. It was rather weird, because we had had a hectic storm on Thursday night and this was now Saturday and the fish looked freshly washed up. Everywhere you walked there was a fish.

Today there are 7m waves at the beach and roads which are very close to the beach have been washed away. On top of that the earth, moon and sun (?) are supposed to be lining up which is apparently going to slightly affect the size of the waves as well as the gravity is not going to be able to cancel one another out, so the waves will be bigger.
