Single Christian going on Holiday

Have you ever tried to arrange a holiday with your boyfriend/girlfriend when you are both Christians and therefore believe it is wrong to share a room/bed with them before being married?

At the moment Andrew and I are wanting to go on holiday in November. Preferably to the Drakensberg. We have another couple who are keen to join us for the weekend, we have the money, we have the leave available, we have the transport and everything else that is necessary.

The problem however is that if you want to go as a "single" person, the hotels want to charge a surcharge - this is often up to 75% of the "sharing" price. In order to be able to afford the holiday then, you try and take advantage of mid-week specials, but then the friends who are supposed to be coming with you can't make it - as they don't have the leave.

I wish more hotels and resorts had rooms for single people so that they don't have to charge a surcharge. There must be plenty of grannies and grandpas and teenagers going away with their family who would appreciate it.

The way things stand, it just makes it so much easier for people to just share...

As a Christian, it just makes it that much harder to plan a holiday...
