Yesterday I arrived at work after a 3.5 week break to find that my brand new boss had received a promotion and would be leaving to work in East London. This news was not happy news. He is one of the best bosses I have ever worked with. There is always some anxiety as we wait to see who the new boss is and whether they will be easy to work with. I guess that is life though and it is a good opportunity for him.
The nice surprise was receiving a hamper FULL of amazing Christmas goodies from my new work. There were Quality Street chocs, and Lindt Choc, and Toblerone, Pringles, Biscuits, Christmas pudding and cake, all sorts of sauces and the goodies just didn't stop coming! It was so exciting.
